EWB-OSU is partnering with Higher Orbits to host Go For Launch! in April of 2025. This is a multi-day program that uses space exploration as a platform to immerse local Columbus high school students in STEM. This event will consist of a variety of talks by experts in the fields of space and STEM. These talks have previously consisted of former astronauts, ISS and Space Shuttle Flight Controllers, scientists, and engineers. During the program, the students are broken into teams to define and design a space experiment. Depending on the series, the winning experiment may be launched and conducted aboard the International Space Station. Our EWB team is working on fundraising to be able to host Higher Orbits so that all participating students are able to afford the event.
