The Engineers Without Borders chapter at Ohio State University is the student chapter of Engineers Without Borders – USA. Our mission is to bring sustainable solutions to communities in need. The organization is currently working with two communities abroad. In the village of N’jau in The Gambia, we have implemented an irrigation system for their crops and built water reserves. Carrera, Ecuador is where we are building an addition to a school building for extra classroom space. Locally, we have several engineering projects, including irrigation system design and therapy device production. EWB also is actively participating in several volunteering opportunities such as COSI after-school programs, and College Mentors for Kids at GEMS.
We welcome all OSU students of any major to join our team and grow technically, culturally, and globally as we work together to provide solutions to communities to reach their basic human needs. If you’re an OSU student and want to know how to get involved, click here!
