Overview

During the 2022–2023 academic year, EWB at Ohio State partnered with the Franklin County Dog Shelter to design an enrichment area for over 100 adoptable dogs. The space needed to be stimulating for the animals while also acclimating them to new textures, surfaces, and objects to improve their readiness for adoption.

The final implementation took place in fall 2023 and included puzzles, a ramp, and a variety of interactive activities for the shelter dogs.
