Overview

EWB at Ohio State partnered with Southside Family Farms to develop a series of interconnected systems aimed at reducing food insecurity on the south side of Columbus. The project included an open-air market, cold storage system, wash-and-pack station, and a range of sustainable agriculture systems — all designed to make affordable, nutritious food more accessible to the surrounding community.

The project started in 2023 and was postponed for the 2025–2026 school year while new project directions are determined and organized.
