EWB OSU members installing bat houses at a Columbus park

Overview

EWB at Ohio State partnered with Friends of the Lower Olentangy Watershed (FLOW) to install two bat houses at a local Columbus park. The team developed a plan for a concrete base and structural support for each house.

Bat houses benefit the surrounding ecosystem by providing habitat for native bat species, which naturally control mosquito and insect populations in the area.
