The EcuaDOS committee is investigating the potential for adding a second floor to the existing school building in our partner community, Carrera, Ecuador. Our goal is to design a second floor that meets the desires and needs of the community. In our analysis, we are considering everything from cost and feasibility to community norms. We are currently compiling a list of material/building alternatives as a core part of the Alternative Analysis report, which in turn will lead to a final list of design decisions we will pitch to the community upon completion.
