The AutoCAD committee is focusing on the campus design component of our structural project. The school in Ecuador is currently lacking specific design components such as a play area, soccer field, gendered bathrooms, storage space, water fountains, auditorium, road, and additional classrooms. The goal of AutoCAD is to create a detailed digital layout of the campus using computer-automated design software. Once this design is complete, it will make the implementation phase of the chapter’s project significantly more manageable. For the year’s first half, we will be working on translating the field data into a more organized digital document. The second half of the year will use this digital document to create a campus design in AutoCAD.
